ALP Abroad is holding its 2022 Annual General meeting on October 17th       

         Time: 630 pm for 7pm start, Monday  October 17th

         Place: The House of Commons  CR18 is booked from 7-8.30pm , 

The following positions are up for election.  

• President
• Vice-Presidents (2)
• Secretary
• Treasurer
• Website /social media officer
• Booth Co-ordinator
• Campaign co-ordinator
• Executive members (At least 8)

Our host is Catherine West MP who is the Labour MP for Hornsey and Wood Green in case you are asked by security. Catherine is also Shadow Foreign Minister – Asia and the Pacific and is our guest speaker. We hope to have a Tour of the Commons following our meeting.

Entrance is by the Cromwell Green Entrance. Arrive at 630 pm and allow 15 minutes to get though security.

We are meeting at the Central Lobby at 6:45pm. The Central Lobby of the Palace of Westminster can be found by

          1.Walking through the Great Hall you see upon entering and walking 100 metres to the far(southern) end

          2.Turning left at the top of the stairs

          3.Walking through St Stephen's Hall for 80 metres until you arrive at hexagonal room which is the lobby

To nominate you simply have to be a financial member. Membership is £15 per/£8 concession. You can renew/join up to  the start of the meeting if you have not paid up in the last 12 months You can join or renew  on our website .

Nominations must be received by the returning officer Angelo Sommariva by 6pm October 16th . Just email Angelo at [email protected] to nominate copying in your seconder. 

We encourage all members to be involved and we encourage new supporters  particularly  female members to become active in what what will be an exciting year with Anthony Albanese Labor government.
