Only Labor has a plan for a better future for all Australians. You can read Labor's Policies here.
Australian citizens overseas are eligible to vote provided they are enrolled to vote. If you need to notify the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC) that you will be voting overseas, you can do this by completing the AEC's Overseas Voter Notification form.
VOTING IN PERSON
In the two weeks before 3 May, you can vote in person at the Australian embassies, high commissions and consulates that are listed by the AEC here. Check the website of the embassy, high commission or consulate that you plan to vote at for detailed opening times.
Note that there is no in person voting on 3 May itself.
VOTING BY POST
If you cannot travel to to an in person polling place or prefer to vote by post, you should apply online for a postal vote immediately. The deadline for a postal vote application to be able to vote in this election is 6pm (Australian local time) Wednesday 30 April.
We encourage you to apply as early as possible to ensure that you receive your voting materials in time. We recommend that you complete and return your ballot papers as soon as possible so that your vote can be counted. Only ballot papers received by the AEC within 13 days after 3 May will be counted.
